Chelsea surely won't won't to play at Twickenham as it is far took classy for them. they should ground share with Millwall
Harsh on Millwall, a well respected club with a kind and caring fan base. To lump them together with some of footballs worst, its at best, unfair.
The Rudeboy of Commie land Roman Abramovich wants Stamford Bridge to be a cathedral of football with a 60K stadium. Thats all very well but you need to teach your manager not to play anti football if you want to fill it The name of the stadium will be called "Victoria Bus Terminal" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-plans-club-aim-increase-capacity-60-000.html
Jose getting sacked then. No idea why clubs who cant sell out now, want to increase capacity so their grounds can look even more empty. Clubs like Chelsea should be reducing capacity. Like Juventus and the milan clubs have/are doing.
Perhaps people who run football clubs know a bit more about business than armchair muppets? Just a thought....
Chelsea have sold out most of their Prem games for the last 15 years. I can't remember the last Prem game that was not sold out in home areas. Maybe one or two in last decade
Average home gates each season for the last 11 seasons. 2015 41.546 2014 41.482 2013 41.462 2012 41.478 2011 41.435 2010 41.423 2009 41.588 2008 41.397 2007 41.683 2006 41.902 2005 41.870 2004 41.234
and before Rudeboys ownership..... look here, its not that great http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/chls.htm and UTDs http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/manu.htm
Sold out doesn't mean full right? Plenty of chav games have been empty in all competitions. 18000 in a champions league game. We havre friendly games with 50000 plus attending. Even our youth team gets bigger gates than Chelsea have previously.
££££ sell out everyhome game, but you can see over a few thousand seats empty in every game except v UTD
I struggle to understand why United fans care so much about our attendances or proposed ground expansion. It's not as if most of them actually go to games themselves and for a club apparently so insignificant to them, they seem to spend an increasing amount of time talking about us. Maybe it's because post Fergie they realise they are just another club and have come down to our level.
