As regards the rainforests, it isn’t the supply of oxygen that I was referring to, but humidity stored there and released from it. These forests are vital elements in the regulation of weather fronts around the Globe.

It's not so much about humidity mate, more that trees act as carbon sponges. And in as much, you're right they do impact on climate in a huge way.

There’s going to be so much nonsensical and ignorant bullshit posted on this thread that I’ve ordered in a bumper supply of popcorn, toasted on the World’s largest open coal fire.

What a load of pseudo science bollocks!

Fracking ffs!

Do you know how much power there is in a single Solar flare?

Actually I do know how much power there is in a single solar flare. I also know that the Sun is currently at it's weakest in terms of solar output in decades, that we are at solar minimum and so there are no sunspots at this time. If we were measuring temperature change based on solar output then we are way outside the envelope.

Humidity within a rainforest is a localised effect. The weather systems are changing regardless due to increased energy in the system.

He's saying just shut up and feel guilty about things beyond your control , otherwise you are picking on a spazzy child and that makes you evil .

Indeed.

Critizising a child being used for political gain must mean that I don't believe in climate change!

Criticism is not allowed.

I've been fined at my old gaff for not recycling a few times.

It's OK I'm rich but the the possibility of someone being paid to go through people's rubbish to see if they are recycling properly bothers me.

Dont pay tax either so can't complain about that really but i can about the invasion of privacy.

So I've seen lots of "evidence" and information from people who state the planet is in trouble. Some are on board with it and believe action is needed.

Nothing from the other side though all I seem to see and hear is that they think it's nonsense with nothing to back that up so give me some info people? This thread is already turning into Brexit, I want to see the facts from both sides.

<ok> Be warned I will close it if it does.
