So between you, you have established he can't kick, doesn't move and can't communicate.

Would a lump of lard therefore not be a better option, do just the same, without eating into our wage bill?

But would leave a greasy stain on the pitch...

It's funny, Arsenal spend £10 mill on Petr Cech and he has improved their defence with his confidence at managing the goal area.
At present, our own Rob Green appears to be having the opposite effect on our defence.
With this in mind, I believe it is time to give Smithies an extended run in the first team with a settled back 4. From what I have read in the Sunday People, JFH is after a Chelsea reserve centre back who is on loan at Middlesborough but cannot get into their first team. Maybe time to bring back Furlong as well and organise the defence and train them to be an effective operation.

The lard wouldn't have punched the ball off Hall's toe so I say give the lard a run in the side.

Good news everyone (and an extra point for the cartoon reference)!

The Times says Rob Green could leave this month because if he plays 30 games this season it triggers a contract extension. Presumably at a wage the club no longer wishes to pay. Watford apparently looking for a reserve keeper.

What f*cking clown put that in his contract? And knowing our luck he'll play 30...<grr>

Another good reason to drop him.
