slow, no feet movement, can't kick and liability and we should have moved on keeper wise ages ago. That's all.
Great header polter but a sub at best really.
Could ramble on all day re squad but sure others have words in line elsewhere.

Spot on.
He is a good shot stopper, as long as he doesn't have to move his feet. He dives late and from where he is stood.
He is poor at dominating his area and his ball control and kicking is akin to that of a 5 year old.

If JFH doesn't show some balls by dropping Green, then he will go even further down in my estimation.

Said all these things about him ages ago. At least the cup match should give Smithies a chance to impress. Faurlin looked completely shot today, Angella cant run, Ned is not a right back.

He's been crap for a long time now. I would say he's living off his reputation but his reputation is that he's error-prone and not very good.

Even I have to stick up for him a bit, he is usually a good shot stopper. He's probably helped win/draw more than helped lose but the scales are tipping this season.

Green's fault or not for the goal you can't blame him for the shambolic performance by the other 10
The problem with that Emerald, is that the playershave NO faith in their goalkeeper.

Yes, we should defend better, but it doesn't help when you are scared to committ in case Green will be called into inaction!

IMO Rob Green has cost us more points through his mistakes than any other 'keeper in my near 50 years of support. A goalkeeper needs to communicate & control his area. These happen to be his weakest points.

The sooner Green is dropped and leaves the better. I'm sick of seeing his stunned look every time he drops another clanger.

As for the rest of the starting 11 yesterday, I'll leave it to the match thread.

Green's form has been pretty awful for a while now and is costing us but he has been a good performer prior to this and until recently had saved/earned us many points in previous seasons. That said it really must be time for a change.

Smithies seems to have replaced McCarthy as a benchwarmer. Definite starter for the cup match and if he's sound keep him in the team. Perhaps a PL team may come in for Green in the window, even if it's a loan deal...

I'd be flabbergasted if they did. No team apart from QPR has such inept scouting
