It's a little more grey than that, surely. If you knew a teacher was fiddling little kids, I hope you are not honour bound to stay stum. Your choice is grassing or killing him. Nothing else is acceptable. That is an extreme example of course, but my point is that context may make grassing acceptable.

Take your point mate. In those circumstances I would certainly report to his superiors.

I’m generally completely against grassing, but for proven nonces I’d make an exception.

What a massive shock the two old farts that are incapable of posting on the politics thread without getting apoplectic and hurling abuse got banned straight off the bat and are now campaigning against reporting abusive posts .
