Virgin do , for the most part , have the far better network though , if they sorted out the stuff at each end , they would be streaks ahead .

Do you remember many years ago when all that green duct was put in the ground ? They own that now , so the vast majority of homes ( not very remote places though ) have a duct route right to the front door , unlike BT who have lots and lots of buried cable .

yes, when I lived in a block of flats they dug up outside and laid something to the building but everybody who wanted TV and internet had it so there wasn't any take up at all.

Yes , not everywhere took it up , but they have a huge advantage over BT , if people want it .
