Grants looking pretty trim at the moment, I think. Saw him the other day, and he's looking ready for the fight. He seemed really happy too (as you would be with a big contract) but I think a lot of pressure is off him since he got his future sorted for his family. I think he'll do us proud, just hope no fans get on his back if he doesn't score within the first few games.

In his interview (I posted a thread yesterday), he was saying that he has lost a bit of weight again this close season and I for one won't be 'getting on his back' if he doesn't score in the first few games!!!! I hope no one who sits near me in the N&P does either!!!
Whilst I didn't like the way he went about things, I'm sure that he was probably ill advised by his agent.
Let's all move on from this saga and give the team our wholehearted support. <cheers>

A bit? He'd want to lose more than that.

Its a shame because if he got his act together, he could be a top class player. I honestly believe he would have made the England squad if he wasn't so fat.

If he sheds a lot of timber, he could become a 20 goal a Season man. No question.

If he shed a lot of timber he wouldn't be the player and he wouldn't be able to do what he does you mockney derp.

Actually, thinking about it, when you consider your team's location, all the rubbish that Swords spouts is quite appropriate!
