God bless our chief scout Graham Carr (Alan Carr's dad). He has done ever so well in just under two year's, compared to predecessors' in the role.

I didn't know he was his Dad either. I vaguely remember Alan Carr mentioning his Dad was involved in football but never put the two together until now. Regardless of his progeny, Carr senior is mint!

Apparantly they're really close despite having personalities that are pretty much polar opposites.

You mean you didn't watch that little thing they did together for NUFCtv (or is it nufcTV?)? It was also mentioned on the Who Do You Think You Are programme on BBC.
