Amsterdam is one of the most laid back and relaxing places to go for a night out, this is with a lot of things being legal there. I've been to Amsterdam several times and have never seen any trouble.

Yeah, they banned shrooms as soon as that one tourist died.

Yet there has never been a reported death where Marijuana is the cause anywhere. God dam the horrible class b evil drug thats not addictive, makes people calm, can help with numerous illness's. Dam it to hell
 
I don't understand why there is such a taboo about it. We are supposed to be an enlightened country yet the people in power (or the people who the politicians serve) live with myths about drugs that are supposedly suited to less 'developed' countries. I'm not sure if we can blame America for it, it is the traditional attitudes that are the problem in this imo

God forbid the UK took initiative and went against something the US is opposed to. The police and members of the government who believe it is an great idea to legalise cannot say anything as they will be outed by everyone against it.

The former chief constable of North Wales was a man called Richard Brunstrom,you may remember him as the guy who the tabloid press called "The Mad Mullah Of The Traffic Taliban".He advocated the legalising of drugs as a way of fighting crime.He was pilloried from pillar to post for having such a view

Exactly <ok> Those were the days when you could identify a **** and not vote for them. Under that ginger-headed Welsh ponce Labour would never have been electable so they got Baldrick in with a cunning plan, steal the Tories stance, pay off all the socialists like Benn & Prescott and run the country into the ****ing ground. What these left wing toadies don't seem to grasp is that all this money they squandered buying jobs for the ****ing useless and throwing money into dumbing down education so now 50% of all school leavers go onto University and not on the dole queue now go on to become burger flippers three years down the line at MacDonalds and a £25,000 debt the sad little ****s will never pay back all because of this ****ing Labour party.

Then after two minutes of pain when the money has to be paid back they cry for the very same arseholes that put them there<grr> Are these ****s so thick they cant see what's really happening out there or are their brains so filled with computer games and the internet that they don't ****ing care but want an opinion irrespective of them knowing **** all about anything!

Yep, something more disturbing. The group responsible for the classing of drugs is a group of scientists and medical researchers.

A few years ago this group of scientists came out and said that Marijuana should not be a class C as it was not as harmful as other drugs in that class.

What happens, it is bumped up to a class B

Now last year this same group came out with medical findings that Marijuana should not be classed at all as scietific research showed how it can help with certain illness's as well as stimulating brain cells in fully developed adults.

What happens, the government are now in the process of replacing every single scientist on this board with politicians with no knowledge of the subject.

She was a good PM but as any government is only as good as the opposition Neil Kinnock's Labour were a disaster and had he and that party had more balls they would not have let them do as they pleased.

Ps She did stand up against the bureaucratic European leviathan only for Tony Murdering Blair to screw us on the Lisbon treaty vote<grr>

So I blame the Labour party for Thatchers excesses<cool>

She did make mistakes for sure but unlike the shower of **** we just got rid of she didn't leave the country on the verge of bankruptcy and despair.
