Which would still be illegal, so rather than risk being caught and charged you buy it.

Also instead of having to wait 4 months for a crop you can get it instantly.

True, but making something illegal doesn't stop people from doing it (especially if they are addicted), instead they resort to crime to get what they want.

Very true man, but we need to start somewhere. The government will never admit it but they are losing the "war on drugs" quite badly and will never get rid of it. Instead of wasting so much on trying to get rid of the lesser "evil (marijauna) why not start pumping some money into a decent addiction program to help people get off the stuff.

If you legalise it, you have alot more younger people not being subjected to the harder stuff, thus there will be less people pushed onto the likes of heroine and cocaine. Small steps but like I said, you have to start somewhere.

I agree with Aberdeengooner. Marijuana is a certainly a less dangerous drug than alcohol, and has never been known to cause death, unlike cigarettes. What makes them legal and weed not? I don't think it should be sold to under 16's as too much at a young age can cause mental health problems, but before anyone says that legalising it makes it more accessible to them you should consider that it is easily accessible at the moment.

I'd make it 18, just like cigarettes. The reason Alcohol & cigarettes are ok is that prohibition has been tried on these and failed badly (just like the war on drugs) so the governments realise how much money they can spin off it.

Smoke a joint and sit at home playing fifa and listening to music.
Go out and get absolutly smashed, start a fight and either end up in hospital or arrested.

Yep, weed is defo the bad one.

Like you said Aberdeen, the government is losing the war on drugs now so I don't see why it is not legalised like alcohol and cigarettes. Police officers probably prefer people to be high rather than drunk as it makes you calmer.

Exactly mate, but i'll tell you why it's not legalised. Because America have not legalised it.

God forbid the UK took initiative and went against something the US is opposed to. The police and members of the government who believe it is an great idea to legalise cannot say anything as they will be outed by everyone against it.

You'll notice that any member of the government who sticks up for it is soon tarnished.
