Ozil is ****. Made to look good by all the top players in the Real Madrid side. Kicked out cause they think bale is better (which he is). Vastly overpriced and only signed by wenger because he was desperate to get someone in.
On top of that he's an ugly ****er!

Think overpriced could be two fold A.) teams that were in for Ozil along with Arsenal feeling that had to make that type of signing ( big name) and B.) So much spent on Bale, Isco, Illaramendi that they wanted to recoup as much of that as possible.

Ozil was fantastic in Avatar!

Was going to ask you guys on your opinion on Mertesacker. Whenever I watch Arsenal or Germany (which isn't that often) I come away feeling like he's a weak link at the back. He just seems so immobile. Maybe he's just been poor when I've watched but seems like he's fallen out of favour for German national side too, although looking at their options that's hardly a slight on him.

Sahko got dropped because he wasn't playing enough games for PSG, probably why he wanted out so badly with it being a World Cup year.

Respect your opinion mate,but I think the vast majority would say(and have said) that Ozil is
a top top player.We will be seeing plenty of evidence of that very soon.

P.S. agree he's an ugly ****er <ok>

You conceded a whooping 6 goals less than we did over the season, we actually kept more clean sheets than Arsenal last year, Pepe himself had 14 and I think Jones was involved in a shut our or two.
Our issue last year was when we conceded in a game, it was more often than not in 2s and 3s where Arsenal rarely conceded more than one goal.

With regards to the following:

Arsenal Defenders:
Jenkinson (Flamini)
Koscielny (Vermaelen)
Mertesacker (Sagna)
Gibbs (Monreal)

Sound.

Liverpool's defence:
Johnson (Kelly, Wisdom)
Toure (Skrtel, Coates)
Agger (Sakho, Illori)
Enrique (Cissokho)

Glen Johnson > Jenkinson, both going forward and defensively!
Kocielny = Toure, however Sakho is being bought in to replace him, but I won't grade him, he's not even kicked a ball in anger yet!
Mertesacker < Agger, both aren't blessed with speed but whilst Mertesacker maybe better in the air, Agger is better all round ball playing Defender.
Gibbs = Enrique, Gibbs much better going forward, Enrique a better defender.

If anything we've got a bit more depth to our defence and if we remain disciplined should concede fewer goals this year.
Also, wouldn't count Coates, if he wasn't injured he'd have left the club.

Don't give a **** about the Arsenal side. For Liverpool and our defensive unit Toure is by far the better fit. So end of we don't want or need their player. Hence Toure is better.
