They will be taking the same amount of money from fans irrespective of ticket prices, albeit mostly indirectly. Low ticket prices have a lot going for them but I think there should be a premium for season tickets. Otherwise you get the situation where they don't become available because it is better for 'fans' to keep them and sell off individual matches even if they never plan on going.

For an ST you have paid for 19 PL games at effectively X per game.
Suppose that the match day price of the game you will not be attending is Y, where Y > X.
You return the seat back to the club, who refund you the X.
They sell the ticket to a supporter for Y.
No profiteering by the club or ST holder, no overpaying by that supporter.
