The equitable response ... For an ST you have paid for 19 PL games at effectively X per game. Suppose that the match day price of the game you will not be attending is Y, where Y > X. You return the seat back to the club, who refund you the X. They sell the ticket to a supporter for Y. No profiteering by the club or ST holder, no overpaying by that supporter.
Indeed but since Y>X there is no way to enforce that. They could check who is using the ticket and if it is not used by the registered owner at least 75% of the time they should lose the right to repurchase.
Perhaps you could give the ST holder some "Brownie points" on ST renewal for such altruistic acts. On the "75%" thing, I suspect that data analytics on the ST demographic (age, locale to WHL etc) would come up with more equitable numbers. For example, I would not want to be harsh on an 80-something ST holder whose health etc may prevent them from attending, even though they bought the ST with the honest intent of attending all games.
Of course not. But I suspect what actually happens is that a lot of grandchildren of eighty year olds effectively inherit the ticket which isn't fair on those on the waiting list.
Quick question Have Arsenal really won more trophies this month than Spurs have in 30 years? Astonishing if true
No But Arsenal fans have certainly shown a much higher level of insecurity than we have in the last thirty years this month...
You're a Spurs fan come wumming? Point remains Community shield is open to 2 teams and so cannot be a proper trophy.
Not a Spurs fan. Community shield is a trophy contested by Champions and Cup winners. Only 2 teams, but still a trophy to go in the cabinet.
Charity Shield is a trophy Was never a trophy...used to be shared if is was a draw Plassie fans and the plassie trophies
Trying to wum about the Charity Shield on behalf of another team! You South London lot have to stick together, I guess.
Three Thanks for proving my point. After all, do Sheikh Mansour Team fans descend upon the Man Utd board every time they buy a trophy? ...okay, bad example, as those are the two deadest boards on here
the fa cup in 91 and the league cup twice, my bad forgotten you won one in 99. He should have said 20 years is TC one of yours
