Just pointing out that over last few weeks I've barely posted (by my standards at least) and the place has imploded. Has anyone ever seen the episode of Scrubs where Kelso realises he needs everybody to hate him in order to get on with each other? I'm happy to be that guy, but I find it hard to get as angry now Big Nige has gone.
What is all this alleged **** all over the forum tonight? Been looking round and can't find anything? And Una stop being a big girls blouse, your a 60 year old bloke not a 6 year old child. Pick all your toys back up and behave!! Or Santa might never visit you again and you won't want that!
We've had several of these threads in the past, and the general consensus is always that posting an article such as this is simply gay. Una is a great poster, and I hope he changes his mind, but this is really, really gay.
A bit, I'm like the majority of people in that I find it easier to complain and whinge then I do offer praise. Hence why I was posting 24 hours a day when Big Nige was around. I'd almost forgotten what it was like to be happy when we won, because, I may as well admit it now, every game Nigel managed I wanted us to lose 5 or 6-0. I didn't want the club to fail, I just didn't want Nigel to be in charge, I couldn't stand his voice or even the sight of him, to me, that wasn't the club I'd supported since being seven years old, it was Nigel Pearson FC and I just couldn't get behind them. Though strangely enough I can now, despite not really liking Nick Barmby.
A lot of peoplle are having a go at Una for this thread but as far as I'm concerned he was one of the best posters on here and I for one will be sorry to see him go. I think the problem is that a lot of the older posters like him aren't interested in all the aggro that's been continuously going on and that's fair enough. IMO a bit of banter spices things up and we all get a chance to let off steam, but this board is most entertaining when we get humorous or interesting threads.
in fairness i think he called him an overrated manager, not a bad one and i for one completely agree with him, dont know why people constantly have a go at him about it, its a fair view as his is his view that brown is our greatest ever manager, another thing people constantly have a pop at him about...i arent wumming or **** stirring but i agree 100% on both views. we dont see eye to eye on adam pearson, but people dont agree on everything theres people that speak a lot less sense then twf in my opinion, not that he needs to me to stick up for him, as he does a fine job on his own.
It's very honest of you to admit that, but I've got to say that I can't understand how you could want your own team to lose under any circumstances. When I think of my main memories as a City supporter it's been depressing for most of the time with a few periods of exhiliration, but I'm always desperate for them to win their next game.
i never wanted us to lose, but i know what you mean...i didnt enjoy supporting city even when we won, the difference away at derby for barmbys 1st game was unbelieveable, felt like a weight had been lifted... even when we lose under barmby, despite being disappointed, i still enjoy going to the games etc..i dont think people will ever understand why we hated that prick, its just something only we will ever know
I'm still struggling to find all this crap that's been going on tonight and still no ones pointed it out. This leaves me to believe nothing's actually happened.
wtf? you found it hilarious? are you the same daft **** who was crying over deano on sportstalk tonight? now that was comedy gold.
No. Just saying, everybody throwing strops and bailing is funny. We all know they won't bail, they'll be back when they have nothing better to do. I'd have thought that was pretty simple to understand from my original post? Also, don't quite understand the link between laughing at drama queens for being dramatic, and then supposedly crying myself about a man I don't know on the radio. Where did that come from then? Explanation please. Regards.
