Hang on FLT. You seem to spend your time swanning around the world "working" and now you're whisky tasting. Is this how you earn a living? If so - you lucky bugger!

Never mind this thread, this board is really struggling to remain upbeat. Lamballana is in meltdown; Beddy is questioning whether our owner is into lap-dancing or something like; Fran is scratching around for positive news (let's face it, birthday lunches being a highlight is scraping the barrel at our age). Meanwhile, another player leaves every day. There must be some good news.

So ... the cricket? The end of the Cold War (old news, I know, but getting desperate)? OK, give up. Let's all join FLT. We'll get rat-arsed and stay that way until things improve. If things don't get better our only concern will be our livers.
 
RonKo has posted an Instagram showing a playerless Staplewood and the words "Ready for training!" I like his sense of humour, I suspect he is having a dig at the neggies here.
 
Ha ha... I wish! I came up for a wedding at the weekend with the wife and kids and we are staying an extra few days as a little break. Just off to start now as staying on a street that joins onto the royal mile!!!

What is interesting is how differently people view that. I (and others) view that as a little joke, but some seem to regard that as him showing anger at the situation. He seems a man with a sense of humour...unlike the kids, he doesn't view the social media as the place for knee jerk reactions or a way to communicate with his employers.
