As staunch Royalist who supports the institution of the Royal Family it is not hard to express my feelings.

In addition it's very sad that people have lost a mum, grandma and great grandma.

How much history has she seen and touched? Her first prime minister was born in 1874, her first US President in 1884. All the world leaders she met, the countries she visited, the sights she saw. The stories she could tell her kids and grandchildren would be totally unique. I hope that she managed to pass on as much as she could of her cumulative knowledge and wisdom to the new King and William.

My political leaning are to the left but I feel a degree of sadness.
The last Image of her before she met Liz Truss she looked happy though very frail.
Maybe she knew the end was coming, she was by all accounts a deeply religious lady who missed her husband and was I am sure looking forward to seeing him again.
