It will be a real sign of change, not only in the UK, but also across the Empire. GSTQ!

The end of British identity & heritage as we know it if anything happens..
imo if your a royalist or not she’s been brilliant fulfilling her royal duties for 70+ years with grace and dignity..

Been told by someone who’s wife works in BBC, that there are meetings and to news readers to be wearing black.
I am hoping that Kate not going there could be a slight hope.

She is staying with the 3 kids in Windsor as they’ve just started school this week, so I’m not sure we can read much into that I’m afraid

The moment we all knew was close at hand has happened and we have lost a true patriot in everything she did. Those famous words she uttered so long ago about dedicating her life to her country, no matter how short or long, was never a truer summary of her commitment to her people. Canada is mourning with you and on a personal note I would like to offer my condolences to all her family. R.I.P. <rose>

Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II
    Thursday, September 8th 2022

Bristol City is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II.

Our thoughts and condolences are with The Royal Family and everyone around the world mourning the loss of Her Majesty.

Inevitably there will be questions around the sporting calendar and whether games will be postponed as a mark of respect.

We are awaiting guidance from the English Football League and we will update supporters as soon as possible.

I will never ever forget where I was when it was announced on the tread mill at David Lloyd.

This lady gave her whole life from 25 years old putting the country before anything else.

There has been no other that has given so much for so little.

RIP Ma'am your are going to be missed.
Sleep tight you have earned your rest:emoticon-0153-broke:emoticon-0153-broke:emoticon-0153-broke

What a shock, I didnt get home till 2045 and the wife says you have heard the Queen has died. So so sad but we all have to go, but it's never welcome news. My first thoughts were a rush, but when taking it in I remembered as if it was yesterday being Crammed in the front room of a neighbours house must have been 20 grown ups and 30 or more kids watching the little black and white tele [ one of about 4 or 5 in the block] of the coronation. propped up on a table on the the table .................... <rose>

I was lying by the Rock Hotel pool of all places.
I had a suspicion it had already happened though because the newsreaders were all wearing black ties.
