I'd say Vito Mannone would very much like to drop in for a chat on his way back from Southampton!!!!!! Infact if he didn't have to go any further north tonight he might be very happy.

Do we need to recall Cracknell?

McGregor out
Harper out muscular tear

Leaves just the Jak!

Has Cracknell gone out on loan? I would expect him to include Watson on the bench next week anyway assuming Harpers out.

Oxley is on loan at Hibs.

Would love to see Paul McShane have a go between the sticks at Anfield and keep a clean sheet, ensuring his legendary status forevermore though.

Corrected it - meant Oxley.

I'd rather leave him where he is until we absolutely have to recall him, he playing at a good standard every well.

Give one of the kids the experience and if Eldin goes down bring him back.

Really difficult recovery when the muscle comes away from bone. It's what happened to Stephen Hunt when he was here. Wouldn't be surprised if that's his last ever game, hope not though.

It obviously different between rugby and football but Hull FC had two players do it a couple of seasons ago and neither were back training for another 6 months.

Wasn't McGregor's injury just one that needed rest? Presumably they can risk it again so he can come onto the bench if really necessary and maybe delay his recovery a bit?

Mebbe he realised this as he looked distraught going off.
