    Were 8 goals behind City.

    Could we realistically overtake them?

Assume City win they next 3 games by 1 goal margin, they will have 11 goal advantage.

Could we realistically win 5-0 and 6-0? We scored plenty vs Spurs and Arsenal.

Why not against Newcastle and Crystal Palace?

Gutted that City got a late draw vs Sunderland by a mistake from the goalie!

We've only once had a 5 goal margain this year. Only once scored 6 (and conceded 3 at the same time).

No, we won't win on GD. We can still win if City drop points. I think they will- it's up to us to not drop points ourselves. GD win- nah- that's not going to happen.

Nope. City won't win all 3 games by 1 goal and no chance we're scoring at least 11 without conceding <laugh>

  7. Man City are averaging 2.65 goals per game this season. Thats a total of 7-8 more over the remaining three games. Can we get a combined 15-16 goals (without reply!) against Palace and Newcastle? Can we ****! The most we've score in one game all season is 6 (and conceded 3 too) and we're averaging 2.66 goals a game!

We need Man City to drop a point

Well I said it a few weeks ago!!! If it comes down to the last game and we need to beat Newcastle 10-0 what a game that would be!!! However i think we might not be able to get there this season but what a season!

Can't see that happening, I just hope City draw or lose a game.

Let's be honest we are not going to pull back the difference let alone overtake them. If we do win it it has to be via the points difference.

It would be the best league season ever - even our rivals would have to admit... if we pulled off beating City by Goal Difference from this far behind.

Rodger's whereas hasn't said we WILL win on Goal Difference has made a statement that kind of hints at believing that we CAN overturn City's goal difference advantage.

One thing is for sure- our "big Rod" has balls! Could be two really entertaining fixtures if Rodger's is really going to try overtaking City on goal difference.

Rodgers on us overturning City Goal Difference:

So whereas most of us think winning on GD is impossible- Rodgers has NOT given up and is going to go for it!

You could quite easily score 7-8 against us (Newcastle).

He's just saved Pardew the trouble of thinking of a motivational speech, just stick that pile of bollocks on the dressing room wall.

Incidentally he's assumed that you've also won tonight btw
