I've only just come onto this post but in these challenging times, having someone to talk to makes a big difference. Having a support network even though everyone has their own opinions of things would be a good thing including lifting the ban.
Wee said Heidi and exactly what some have said. Life’s too short and we are all too aware of that now. How are you managing without the footie

Anyway despite having spare time on my hand I’ve had enough of this thread. I see now it’s pointless trying to have an adult discussion on some subjects. Notice to mods, delete it, edit it or twist it whatever way it suits you lads. You’ll twist it anyway

I found it very tough at first and admit I cried on Monday when the reality set in with Boris's announcement. Having a close family and knowing I can't see my grandchildren, kids and my mum had me in bits. Feeling a lot better now as we're in constant touch by phone and I've had Facetimings with my grandchildren which meant the world. Although I've now got logged on remotely and can work from home the weather has helped so I've caught up with things that have been outstanding for a long time. I get out with the dog once a day and we've enough to eat and I can get used to being at home in that sense. We are lucky that we have a big garden so being out there today in the gorgeous sunshine was lovely.

As my life has always been so busy that I couldn't cope with everything I will have to take advantage of slowing down. The things that have always got me through things Leeds United, my family and regular massages are all on hold but will still be there so have to look at things positively.

My aim is to share photos of my times following Leeds and I feel in a better frame of mind to be able to do that so watch this space!

Not seen my step-daughter for 2 days or grandchild and we were seeing them every day as she is still on Maternity and she lives a 5 minute walk away, its horrible. Who would have thought three weeks would seem so long, two days so far and it feels a lot longer

Yes the world we take for granted has changed beyond recognition. Let's hope it gets back to normal sooner rather than later

It’s dreadful the people of our vintage are being so isolated. Had to talk in through window to my 86 year old dad today. He’s separated from his grandkids and great grandson. He’s handling it well though. Strong man

If Bucks and Elland want Glory back I said I would vote the same way as them. Do I think he sould be given another chance, no but I said wayyy back, I would give them the same vote (if Bucks and Elland say remove the ban I'll agree) yet I'm accused or not caring about democracy and being impartial ;) <ok>

I was also the one who raised it on the mod board for brb to look into and I have updated you all with virtually every question thrown at me.

For the record no hard feelings on my part and I totally agree with you on a latter post, life is too short and I don't want to keep getting drawn into this thread so I'm out of here until brb updates us TC has PM'd him, Chesh has tagged him, there really isn't anything else we can do <ok>

I think that's really unfair, Kev.

At your request, the question has been discussed by the Mods & rightly, I think, passed on to BRB for adjudication. That's the consideration that you asked for.

The Mods have now made it clear that if it was any other character, they would have made the decision themselves, but so involved was BRB, he had to have his say (I either didn't know that or had completely forgotten, tbh - only realised from the links Rich put up). I think our Mods have been very judicious & fair, & have done everything they could & should in the circumstances. Must confess that I hadn't realised that, hence my incessant questions.

I’d never be a mod. I come on here to behave like a child as a bit of a release, not to be a school teacher. Consequently, I’m thankful for anyone who contributes their spare time to help keep a place ticking over and unless one of them is being a complete a*se which I don’t recall witnessing here, I don’t get why anyone would criticise them. They only get involved if someone is being a dick or has forgotten that it’s a public forum.

If there was a nit to pick I’d say it was probably letting too much go... and that’s an observation not a criticism. I think the guys do a great job for what’s its worth doing what is generally a thankless task.

tomorrow I’ll bring apples in and volunteer to be book monitor<whistle>
