I know a couple of songs that he's played, but I think he maybe should've just stuck to the Beatles stuff.

Should've been a Beatles and Wings party.

I saw Bob Dylan at Glastonbury, one of the worst, ****test performances I've ever seen. Loads of new material that no one had ever heard. Only song any one knew was a complete bastardised version of Lay Lady Lay - was so gutted.

The same year, we saw Rolf Harris (pre-***** days) ...he was great!

I think Cliff Richard stole a living from the music industry but he would've put on a better performance than McCartney this evening. God this is awful, feel sorry for the punters who forked out for this.

An odd comparison.

Now banging on about how great Liverpool is and every successful Scouser lives in London or thereabouts. Paul McCartney has a mansion in St John's Wood, next door to Lord's cricket ground. Jimmy Tarbuck lives up the road from me and lives in a mansion backing onto a golf course.

An odd comparison.

Cliff Richard had a lot of **** songs, McCartney is a legend, but Cliff's crap songs would've probably trumped McCartney's worst songs. It seems someone has said ... go out there Paul and see if you can get away with playing your worst songs and get away with it? His set has been awful.

As much as I love The Beatles, his voice has let him down towards the back end of this set. I hope this is a big farewell, but somehow doubt it....

I think he's magnificent for performing at eighty years of age, but that's far too old. Diana Ross at seventy eight tomorrow will be carnage.
