IDLES were awesome as expected, must be great to see them live. Blossoms good too. Wet Leg were also very good, really like them.

Haven't had a chance to watch Foals yet, but I expect them to have played a blinder as well. As with Noel.

None of the headliners interest me this year, but as mentioned already, there's plenty of other stuff going on away from the main stage.

Now this would've made going to Glastonbury worthwhile...

IDLES play secret ‘Brutalism’ set at Glastonbury 2022

A brutal surprise just hit the BBC Introducing Stage

IDLES played a surprise set at Glastonbury 2022 today (Saturday June 25), performing their debut album ‘Brutalism’ in full.

Taking to the stage in the 12.30pm slot on the BBC Introducing Stage, the Bristol band tore through the entirety of their 2017 debut, described at the time by NME as “an expletive-laden, punk triumph that tackles the current Tory rule, toxic masculinity and mental health.”

They were introduced onstage by radio legend Steve Lamacq, who labelled them “one of the most Incendiary, caring and thought-provoking bands of the last decade”. The group paid him back in kind with a dedication ahead of ‘Well Done’, before breaking into an impromptu verse of Green Day’s ‘Basket Case’.

“It’s been five years since Brutalism came out, so we thought we’d give it a little nod,” said guitarist Mark Bowen

One huge problem for me is they release the tickets then announce the lineup… I would always choose festival based on the lineup.

Was supposed to be going to one in Bournemouth next weekend sadly been cancelled due to licensing issue.

Warmduscher sounding good on the Park stage just now

Amyl and the Sniffers on Peel stage at 5pm should be good.

Tbh, as much as I like music, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than attend a music festival.

I’m with you on that. Glasto not my bag at all, but enjoyed a few Monsters of Rock at Donnington many moons ago. Could just about handle Cornbury but sadly had to turn down free tickets this year.

You'd like Amy from Amyl and the Sniffers - especially if she's got her hotpants on!
