FFS OLM, I was going to bring the Dead Bod flag up, you've ruined it now...
Well, that was a bloody ace weekend of music, booze and probably drugs just from the fumes.
Saw First Aid Kit, Kris Kristofferson, Royal Blood, The xx, Radiohead on Friday - mainly stayed at the Pyramid all day, was about 10 rows from the front.
First Aid Kit, great. Kristofferson was decent, bit weird seeing Johnny Depp, Bradley Cooper and Brad Pitt on stage there though. Particularly Cooper, as he was there to do some filming on stage. Royal Blood ****ing KILLED IT. They're so good. The xx, they're fine, not a massive fan but not too bad. Radiohead, a bit biased here of course, were absolutely unreal and were fantastic.
Spent a lot more time switching on the Saturday, saw British Sea Power, obviously popped to see Jezza Corbyn and Run the Jewels, Liam Gallagher, The National and Foo Fighters.
All of them were great, but nothing came close to Foo Fighters. Easily, the highlight of the weekend and the best performance I've been to ever. Was only about 7 or 8 rows back as well, real close. They could've played all night.
Final day, didn't even touch the main stage, Ed Sheeran doesn't interest either me or the lass. Spent most of the day looking aorund the non-musical stuff. Went to see the secret set at the John Peel Stage, which turned out to be The Killers, great stuff. Saw The Courteneers and London Grammar anarl. Both decent.
All in all, a belting weekend fully worth every single extortionate penny. Even if the lavs were ****e (no pun intended).
