I wondered if the title was a plea to the Home Secretary?

As far as I know, he is still due a court appearance for assualt.

IF he is found to be guilty, given his previous record, you would suspect that another prison term would at least be a possibility.

So you could be asking for yet another short term manager.

IF he were to be appointed, in ANY capacity at all, by SAFC, I'd be one long term fan released from any obligation to continue ssupporting the Team.

I’ve always said I would support the club whatever happens however Barton is one of only a few managers that would stop me from going to our matches if he was appointed.

Pardew is another for obvious reasons and Sol Campbell for his blatant lies about Sunderland fans being racist.
