Murder a single parent, blame the British. That's the crux of the argument.

Of course its the IRAs fault she was killed, but the IRAs position on informers was clear from the start. There would have been no necessity for the situation had Special Branch not been so irresponsible (actually irresponsible does not adequately describe the seriousness of their actions) to criminally blackmail a single parent into a situation they, and she most likely, knew could be a fatal one.

Like it was said, she was caught once and warned, thats more leniency than was afforded to many others. She should have taken the opportunity to tell special branch to get f**ked and dish whatever it was they were holding over her rather than carry on, especially considering she was now under suspicion.

I am not excusing the IRA at all, simply stating that the role played by Special Branch/MI5 in the affair has been completely whitewashed from all reporting of the incident.

Im sorry, do I have a transcript of all their communications. Im sorry I cant dictate to you word for word what was discussed but like I said it would have centered on meetings, when? who? where exactly? why? and if possible, what was discussed. Like you say, try reading

So have a guess, what information would she have access too that the Army or Police would have found useful?
