And here's us, let several players leave on a free over the summer, sold the best winger in the Championship, have 2 main players out injured till October and have a midfielder banned for taking drugs... and we've signed **** all.

Southhampton have lost Gardos for 7 months, added to losing out on Alderweild it means they are on the hunt for a cb.Hopefully Chester isn't continental enough for Koeman.

Id be more worried about Villa splashing the cash and buying Huddlestone and Chester.

Paul Anderson and now Darius Henderson will make Scunny a great bet for the top 6 at least. Anderson will be a top player in league one.

Aston Villa with Ayew - Adebayor - Gestede - Cambiasso(assuming they all sign that is) should have enough to stay up - just.

They'd spent £11.5m at the start of the window before they'd even had an approach for either Delph or Benteke and they tried to keep both players anyway.
