Even if Quinn signs and Huddlestone stays, that leaves us with Tom, Quinn, Meyler and the injury riddled Diame. That's not enough, specially when you play with three in midfield. We definitely needs midfielders.

Strikers are the priority for now.
 
Free Agent Andre-Pierre Gignac will wait to see who gets the managers job at West Ham before choosing which PL team he joins. Wba, Southampton, Stoke and Newcastle are also interested. His wanted wage of £70k a week could be an issue for the baggies.

Ex.Tiger and another free agent Anthony Gerrard could be joining his cousin Stevie G. In the MLS.
 
We should have signed that Tomlin when he was at Peterborough, I think he's at Middlesbrough now. Always rated him and he always seems to score goals.

Strikers are everybody's priorities all the time, until any of ours actually leave (Sagbo aside) it's not a pressing concern at all. If we aren't using Oxley or Watson then I'd have thought a new goalkeeper would be a better use of funds at present.

June is the ****test month in football, we're just going to have to grin and bear it.

However, I do think that the squad we see at the pre-season game at Ferriby will be much the same squad as we had last season, with a few trialists dotted about.

Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has been given a £50m transfer fund. His top target is Patrick Bamford from Chelsea.

Liverpool defender Martin Skirtel is not happy with his new contract.

They're doing some lovely business. They can't attract the same top names as Man Utd/Chelsea etc but it's all about stepping stones. Milner and Ings have already significantly improved their squad. I'd go for Austin next if I were them and look for a centre half
