Also Peretz should be a good signing and it’s nice to read the perfectly normal reaction to it online. Welcome to the genocide club. Mazel tov.

About ****ing time, absolutely sick of watching that useless **** Bazunu. Be nice to have a keeper who can make saves and come for crosses.

As for reaction yeah I made a joke on our board about how a poster wouldn't like it before being told there were actually people kicking off about it on social media.

****ing mentalists.

He’s a snide little rat who has done similar himself when actually faking injury. Arteta once rolled him back on the pitch to go down with cramp to get the game stopped.

I feel for refs. Every game now it seems there’s a ‘head injury’ or a goalkeeper mysteriously needing treatment while his team is winning. They can’t do a lot about either and there’s not a realistic solution. They can book time-wasting all they want (though rarely do, which is another issue) but a goalkeeper getting his second yellow and being eight away from a ban isn’t a punishment. Maybe clubs could be retrospectively punished for something but then there’s more bureaucracy and whinging about inconsistency.

You watch championship football so you'll know its rife.

Spend too much time watching grown men sit on the floor pulling their socks up for what feels like five minutes at a time. Then have to endure 10 minutes + added.

We pay to watch this ****, it needs stamping out.

I think the refs often appreciate the little rest themselves and therefore don’t clamp down on it. So often you’ll get four or five minutes added at the end of the game when it really should be ten.

VAR should be able to review something like the hair pull and say “obviously a red card is dumb, give a yellow”.

That’s if we have to have VAR at all, which we don’t. It’s ****. Bin. People paying a grand for a season ticket to have the game moved to 3:30am on a Monday and then they have no idea what’s going on while some dickhead talks on his little headset to some other dickhead in Uxbridge working out if the defender’s bellend is keeping the striker’s nose hair onside.

I'd be more annoyed with one of ours pulling hair in the first place - ****ing ridiculous...

These footballers are plucked out from the societies our principles on the whole create

Little shameless girls with hormone issues getting anger and trying sly tricks to get their way

Its way more masculine and Gladiator like to crack on and earn the respect of real men

Therefore as a result we now have a product full of angry pansies with heads up their own arse…it’s a potent mix of personality traits

The game energy most of us grew up watching has gone

Don’t really connect with these players in any way

i enjoy watching the game self implode

The influx of foreign players certainly improved the technical quality of football in this country - no question - but we also lost a bit of our collective footballing soul in that process.

I think fans do still connect to a considerable extent with players the like of Jamie Vardy, Declan Rice, Jordan Pickford, Mark Guehi - and not just the home grown ones - a Granit Xhaka at Sunderland for instance - players whose effort and commitment on the pitch (not to mention passion) more closely matches the commitment of the fans and who seem to understand / appreciate how important the football club is to those fans in their daily existence...

The huge disconnect comes when you have players at your club that you know will promptly down tools in order to force a move or where it's quite obvious that what they do on the pitch is way more about them and their ego than the badge on the shirt and the fans that support it ...

True there’s a few scattered about like Sonny boy and Kane for us

Put Guehi in there because he didn't throw his toys out when he didn't get his move in the summer and has therefore given his club time to identify / bring through a 'replacement' ... both professional and admirable...

Semenyo too I guess

**** scoring winners instead of sulking sat in another country like the Isak’s of the world

Doncaster away tomorrow. Ground 46 of current 92 for me assuming it doesn't get called off.

A thousand miles in a week to see a humping at Boro and going out the cup to a side at the bottom of league one. What a time to be alive.

You’ll be pleased to hear it’s a completely forgettable cheaply built modern ground in a dump area of a dump town.

Yeah it just looks like a small St Mary's in a worse location.

Had to be done though as I doubt we'll play there again anytime soon.

A friend I made through football when younger, his company is main shirt sponsor. Not sure if that’s good for him or good for Doncaster.
