Arsenal top of the champions league

Arsenal top of the premier league

You miss one vital thing in Europe at this stage, it all counts for **** all. If I remember correctly from last season, Liverpool went unbeaten and were on a high, but it all counted for nothing, didn't even get runners up.

You can win the ‘league’ then get whichever top side couldn’t really be arsed with it and finished 22nd. Load of ****e. Seven million games to knock out 12/36 teams.

Yeah early days still. Just nice to be up there and performing very well. Can’t ask for more than that at this stage of the season. <ok>

I think the one thing that would concern me with this stage is injuries, so at what point do you play your second string to protect your best players. Trossard has done well this season, and he's as much a critical player as any of the others, but now because of this pointless game, which is what it boils down to, pointless, he's injured.

With teams constantly complaining about too many games, we now have teams with injuries that could have been reduced if it wasn't for this ridiculous stage. I think the only time I got interested in it last season was the final games in this league. Losing players like Trossard through this bolloxs is what will cost you the league, then you may ask was it really worth it?

This is why Chelsea are ahead of the game, modern footy, big squad that will be rotated, players who accept that and are ready to play when need.

Probably best I don’t post it but has anyone seen that video of a fat grot woman sucking off some chubby bloke in the away end toilets at Marseille last night?

Losing players to injury is what has cost us in the past. And the injuries were compounded by the fact that our squad was thin and thus we over played players and didn't give them a rest.

Trossard has been brilliant this season (and very consistent in his career with us) but we now have both Madueke and Martinelli who can come in and play on the left. As you saw last night, both came on to replace Trossard and Saka, and both of them scored.

Trossard will be assessed today, hopefully it's not too bad. But this is football and injuries happen.

Wow, can’t believe that was 1-4.

I agree this is football and injuries happen, but it still doesn't dispel the Premier clubs arguments when it comes to the FA Cup, yet it's ok when it comes to completely pointless games in the Champions League. Trossards injury last night was for a completely nothing game in which the points are meaningless. Be interesting to see how bad this injury is and all you need then is Eze out, and Arsenal finishing second again to The master Pep. Did you see his line up btw when they lost lol? Pep knows, Arteta can only but learn...the hard way!
