And some clubs spend the most year on year, so you can't complain about city or other clubs doing the same thing.

I mean, the other option would be a fair competition one way or the other.

This isn't football anymore and hasn't been for decades. look at the distribution of trophies since clubs like yours won the big TV money hands.

Now they hide behind the safety net of financial rules.

I've not complained about City.

I'm making it clear we had the same level playing field as anyone else and weren't just given money, it's bullshit.

Newcastle had the same opportunities, spent as much as anyone, and ****ed it up. Tough ****.

I'm guessing we'll see starts for chiesa, kelleher Jones, elliot quansa tsimikas and Bradley again today. Who in particular has been brilliant whenever he's played.

Could make it interesting for the neutral

The playing field isn't level and hasn't been since the prizes were TV money.

It would be level if the club's all got the same money or the cap was the same for every club. Surely such great clubs would still keep winning.

Newcastle have neither had or spent anywhere close to the big clubs overall and that's what all the other clubs are after.

What's happened is the club's that happened to be at the top have run away hiding from competition because your owners are worried about losing money. There's nothing fair about it.

I do sympathise with their injury situation because we had something similar last season.

Unfortunately nobody acknowledges it and you hear about other clubs with a standard injury list, so Tottenham will just have to walk that path now.

Essentially **** them.

Everyone has inuries mate, its up to you as fans to make the lists up and cry about them so you feel Included.

This is such a brainless thing people say mind.. Of course every club gets injuries, but sometimes clubs get more than everyone else.

Actually it's another reason why the big clubs want to be able to spend more and have 5 subs.

Ange? Maybe his style of play doesn't help though tbf

Ange and spurs I think are suffering from what Liverpool players did under Klopp at times. Simple Burnout.

The super high line and relentless pressing expected from that kind of football takes its toll.

Slot ball is more measured so I don't see us burning out in the last stretch like last sesson. But injuries can come from anywhere and some players are injury prone like naby Anderton and jota and oxlaid Chamberlain so it's also down to the clubs to do good research these days while recruiting.

Instead of whinging


And at the top level a big squad is essential so I welcomed the 5 subs thing it was needed imo

Fair enough of spurs I suspect their intense style of play has done for them. Said the same about us last season.

If the big clubs don't want the struggles of Europe then they can always not be in it. They've got all the advantages and winge about it.

The cup draw is the latest thing, and little by little, inch by inch they've taken it all.

I'd rather they kept the cup ties myself and done something with the squad registrations instead like add a player or 3 or swap out injured ones
