Yeah. He’s got his weaknesses like everyone else but for me there’s no doubt he’s Englands number 1. He doesn’t even have any competition for the shirt, at the moment.

Bit late on this but agree entirely. There was a time Ramsdale looked a decent option but that's fallen away. Our keeper sometimes gets mentioned as an alternative and 30 years ago may have been an international keeper (he's an excellent shot stopper) but his distribution and general play is a level or two below Pickford (there's no comparison) and his only England performances have been so-so. Pickford has always raised his game for England and he's only 30, he's got 2-3 tournaments in him yet and only needs replacing if a trully exceptional young keeper appears.

Fair point but that was a Pellegrini and Mangala Man City. Still impressive obviously but the idea that this incarnation had lost 5 in a row and is now likely to gert schooled at Anfield for a 6 is pretty remarkable. If you're losing 4-0 at home to Tottenham you may as well take up badminton or something.

Possibly my favourite ever game watching my lot was the 3-1 win at Citeh in 2015/16 - Aguerro netted a last minute consolation - we were unbelievably good and watching the double substitution of shell shocked Yaya Toure and David Silva who had been chasing Kante's shadow all game was the icing ...

Gonna say it - think the title will be a 3 horse race between Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea ...

Citeh looking like they've reached that inevitable point that happens to all dynasties... transition...

Man City have had to carry the unenviable burden of sporting excellence amongst a sea of mediocrity for more seasons than is fair to expect. It's time for another club or two to at least compete and give them a breather.

Man City will win the league next season. Probably finish 3rd - 5th, this season.

They deserve this breather after everything they’ve done for the premier league. 4 in a row isn’t for everyone.
