If you watch football just for the results then welcome to a life of dissapointment. I don't want to see the crap Southgate manages to dish up. It's quite a talent to take players of the calibre of Bellingham, Kane, Foden, Saka and Rice and produce turgid football without commitment. Southgate had no track record and a CV with Middlesbrough as the highlight, wow! The FA always do the same picking the diplomat over a proper manager. No to Clough, no to Redknapp, avoid Allison.

No offence to Middlesbrough and sorry Bob Mortimer.

^^^^^
Very much this - I watch footie to be entertained not just to see MY team win - hence why I've watched as many of the group games as I have - so far I've been right royally entertained ... just not by England ... given the hype surrounding us we are awful ... no wonder the fans jeered at the end of the last game - they've paid a fortune and taken time off work ro be there - in marked contrast to players who are paid a fortune and gave taken time off playing ...

No you long balled it to vardy all season.

Lets have it right mate

Well apart from Mahrez wing wizardry ...

Still nice for you to acknowledge that Vardy (costing £1million) won the Premirr League on his own before Liverpool could ... despite all that money spent <laugh>

A man of your age should know football by now

Would love for that to happen but at this rate, it’s a limp exit in the last 16

England need to make a statement in their final group game, go smash them 4-0 or something

Yeah, the first two games were utter gash

I was saying hold back on the criticism after the first game, as it was the opener and we got the win. But I fully expected us to grow into the tournament after that game and improve against Denmark, but we were much worse and in the end we were fairly lucky to come away with a point.

Like you say, need to make a statement in the last game. Because otherwise, we'll just get obliterated when we come up against one of the big teams. And we SHOULD be a big team.
