Probably cos he's been one of our best players at the previous two tournaments.
best at what, diving?
Probably cos he's been one of our best players at the previous two tournaments.
I've been fairly critical of his "defending" over the years but in fairness if it's him or the Kelvin Phillips alongside Declan Rice I know who I'm picking. I think it's an interesting dynamic which could work well and I'm hoping that when Stones steps forwards into CDM and beyond (as he does for City) then Walker will fall into a RCB position and TAA cover the RWB role as they also cover those positions pretty regularly too. A kind of dynamic system where players can actually play to their strengths would be shockingly good to see.
I actually really like TAA on the ball. There, I said it. I just hope he isn't tracking a good player back into the box at any point in the tournament though.
Not disputing that but “best passer in the world” is a fairly obscene stretch.
Why we playing Saka, get Cole Palmer on!
We can’t risk the ‘Cold Palmer’ celebration at this level. Would be highly embarrassing showing the world a malnourished scruff can bag 20 goals and make the England squad.
Only 15 minutes until I fall asleep
and assists...what does Saka offer...get to box, fall over.
Probably cos he's been one of our best players at the previous two tournaments.
Think it’s fair enough. Team lacks pace without him and we’re getting nothing down the left with Trippier checking back every time.
can always swap Saka/Foden and get balls in
