This is ruining football, this whole "Making sure clubs spend however much we tell them they can spend" bullshit.
Its about time the authorities realised football is now a business, and telling investors or owners they cannot invest into their businesses is backward as ****.
This "unfairness" in terms of some clubs having more money than other has always been there, it was there in the 60's, 70's and 80's, and was made all the more prominent with the advent of the Premier League.
Either prices, wages, prize moneys and TV revenue gets capped and its made even across the board or they just need to stop trying to control clubs finances and let them do what the **** they want.
We are seeing points deductions and sanctions all over the place. Reading got raped because of sanctions "Oh they dont have enough money to pay people, well instead of forcing their owner out and helping them, we'll fine them and deduct points so they get relegated, that'll help ease their money problems".
Absolute ******ed on all levels.
Everton now getting messed around. And yet when it comes to PSG, Real and City, they wont do **** all.
Clubs keep finding legal loop holes to spend more money, like Chelsea did with the contract length thing, and then the authorities come up with new ways to close the loop holes....its tiring. I just want to enjoy football.
