Not great defensively but he's getting forward and scoring so really can't complain too much.

I wouldn't have him starting though. We'd probably concede about 2 or 3.

Defenders great in the opposition box but shhite in their own.

He's really indisciplined in midfield tbh.

Just disappears and goes off wherever he wants <laugh>

I suppose it's working in terms of popping up in the final third to score.

Pretty sure you and me discussed his potential as a BtoB midfielder in the past but he just does'nt have the positional sence/dissaplin.
He is however United to the core and would happily shed blood for the cause which is partly why he gets on the end of so much in the box, no fear.
Same for Scotland too.

Yeh very much so.

When he first broke through I saw him in the same mould as Fletcher. Reminded me so much of him.

Tbh I don't blame him so much. He's suffered like a lot of our younger players over the past 5 years or so in that the coaching has been piss poor so he hasn't developed.

This. I think there's a player there if the right manager sorts him out.
