We gonna conveniently forget that Aston Villa already have incredibly rich foreign owners?

what do we all make of Rubiales kissing Hermoso on the lips after the women's world cup final ?

Is that any different to when coaches slap players arses (the men)
Yeah it’s a bit weird.

Yeah it's wrong. The player said initially she didn't like it.
Edit; by that I'm referring to the kiss on the lips and the grabby stuff.
Yeah she did.
You can see that he keeps trying to move his face in to face hers and she keeps her cheek turned.
So he then grabs her face and plants a smacker on her lips lol
I'll be honest with you mate, my little grandson tries to kiss me on the lips sometimes and I try to discourage him from doing it, and try and guide him to do it on the cheek.
It would be different if those two were in a relationship, but I assume they are not.
Him kissing her on the lips or the reaction ?
watching the video .... he is a bit 'grabby'
It's a funny one because I think it all comes down to whether people are comfortable with a kiss on the lips
My nan used to kiss me on the lips and I didn't like it, and my auntie still tries to kiss me on the lips and I always turn my cheek. But I suppose in their immediate family (my mum included) that's what they did and it was normal family affection.
I've got a couple of female friends who I kiss on the lips, we've done it for years. There's nothing romantic there, but it's kind of a sign of a deep friendship. I don't know maybe it does cross the line a bit ? If either of them said they found it uncomfortable I'd stop straight away.
Yeah I get what you are saying, like you highlight, it's about the relationship between those two people and what rules they have. My grandson is affectionate and wants to kiss on the lips, I as an elder try to encourage him to show his affection by kissing on the cheek. But I will say, that spaniards and italians always seem to be more affectionate than us brits. So everyone has to draw their own moral judgement on it, and only the player and the president know what was going on there - it seems odd, but maybe it's a spanish custom lol
Would be very worried if I was a blue.
When we over stretched ourselves financially in the 1980s it was caused by us building a new stand in 1981 which opened in 1982.
We won the FA Cup in 81 and 82, got to a league cup final, won the UEFA Cup in 84, made an FA Cup final and several semi finals by 87. We also regularly qualified for European football. Back then this was all worth money so our debt was greatly lessened.
By 1991 we were still on the verge of bankruptcy. Only winning the FA Cup with its European qualication and selling Gazza to Lazio saved us.
Everton are in a far worse financial state, are facing FFP investigations, are building a billion pound stadium and don't have players to sell tbh.
They've been so badly run it's hard to see them getting out of this mess. They could well end up doing a Leeds, Portsmouth, Wigan, Charlton, Wednesday etc.
If there was no tongue it doesn’t countwhat do we all make of Rubiales kissing Hermoso on the lips after the women's world cup final ?
