oh yeah forget about them lol For the purposes of my biased argument, lets pretend they haven't already got billionaire owners
what do we all make of Rubiales kissing Hermoso on the lips after the women's world cup final ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66598539 Is that any different to when coaches slap players arses (the men)
Yeah it's wrong. The player said initially she didn't like it. Edit; by that I'm referring to the kiss on the lips and the grabby stuff.
Yeah she did. You can see that he keeps trying to move his face in to face hers and she keeps her cheek turned. So he then grabs her face and plants a smacker on her lips lol
I'll be honest with you mate, my little grandson tries to kiss me on the lips sometimes and I try to discourage him from doing it, and try and guide him to do it on the cheek. It would be different if those two were in a relationship, but I assume they are not.
It's a funny one because I think it all comes down to whether people are comfortable with a kiss on the lips My nan used to kiss me on the lips and I didn't like it, and my auntie still tries to kiss me on the lips and I always turn my cheek. But I suppose in their immediate family (my mum included) that's what they did and it was normal family affection. I've got a couple of female friends who I kiss on the lips, we've done it for years. There's nothing romantic there, but it's kind of a sign of a deep friendship. I don't know maybe it does cross the line a bit ? If either of them said they found it uncomfortable I'd stop straight away.
Yeah I get what you are saying, like you highlight, it's about the relationship between those two people and what rules they have. My grandson is affectionate and wants to kiss on the lips, I as an elder try to encourage him to show his affection by kissing on the cheek. But I will say, that spaniards and italians always seem to be more affectionate than us brits. So everyone has to draw their own moral judgement on it, and only the player and the president know what was going on there - it seems odd, but maybe it's a spanish custom lol
Europeans definitely kiss more, but it's usually on each cheek. A kiss on the lips is usually something a bit more intimate. I think the Spanish president got a bit carried away and wanted to show the captain something a bit more than a kiss on the cheek, like you said, initially she came out and said she didn't like it.
If it is as bad as it looks they could end up doing a Luton I would not wish that on any club, but on the bright side it on ly took Luton 30 years to get back to the top flight
... take your underpants off your head and smell the coffee ... they have the best squad in the Premier League ... plain and simple ...
