If Everton go down, that will be 45% of their revenue straight out the window into thin air. All these fancy ideas never think of the what if. It will then be stripped of players worth anything. The Championship will apply the FFP rules more stringently than the Prem, see Derby County for more details. Everton could actually be playing L1 football by the time my lot get promoted. well the "FFP" rules in the EFL are definitely there to try and protect the clubs from themselves
and to be blunt if Everton had followed the rules they would be ok as it is they are on the brink of of going under if they go down irrespective of the latest investigation .
If only Big Al had put Everton in to a trust fund like the rest of his UK assets
err our stadium is pretty much finished unless we buy land around the stadium which would probably require help from the council .
