Oh dear, so it might all fall through? I was looking forward to them being the Spurs of the North.

If Everton go down, that will be 45% of their revenue straight out the window into thin air. All these fancy ideas never think of the what if. It will then be stripped of players worth anything. The Championship will apply the FFP rules more stringently than the Prem, see Derby County for more details. Everton could actually be playing L1 football by the time my lot get promoted. I think I might need to bookmark this.

Was this not mentioned last season? I seem to remember Leeds and Burnley and other relegation threatened clubs bringing it up and but nothing happened and similar will happen this season ie FA.
Yes that's correct but it got dropped, for whatever reason

I actually hope they fight it and smash the whole thing to kingdom ****ing come. Biggest con job in football is ffp. They’re to protect the historically successful clubs to help them keep their place.

well the "FFP" rules in the EFL are definitely there to try and protect the clubs from themselves
and to be blunt if Everton had followed the rules they would be ok as it is they are on the brink of of going under if they go down irrespective of the latest investigation .
If only Big Al had put Everton in to a trust fund like the rest of his UK assets <whistle>

Nagelsmann was sacked because they just thought he was a bit of a prick then?

Seems to be the only reason anywhere I am seeing for his dismissal.
