That's not me by the way, it's Talk Sport Adrian Durham taking utter rat **** and trying to belittle people questioning why a player who doesn't play for his club gets to start for England.

It's not even that anyway, he's alongside Rice who surely must be the deepest most central CM. I don't know anyone who thinks Phillips should play ahead of Maddison.

Bar Adrian ****ing Durham, and Southgate.

That's funny as I was listening to Agbonlahor on there the other morning on the drive in, and he was genuinely trying to convince everyone that past experience playing for England counted more than a player having a good season regardless of the so-called experienced player not playing many games or having a poor season.

It was utter bollox. And none of the other presenters challenged him, they agreed!

There seems to be a media lovefest for Southgate that he can do no wrong. Fck knows why that is, but they come out with so much crap to defend him.

I did hear that, could have even been this morning right?

It doesn't really even apply to Phillips, he's hardly actually played, he's a squad member at best.

Maybe he's aiming at it Maguire being picked for instance, which I suppose it does apply up to a point as he's played pretty much every game in the last three major tournaments. Plus, can't genuinely thing of a nailed on replacement for Maguire, but there are plenty options for Phillips not to play.

It could've been, they all merge after a while! I can't remember if it was Maguire. Could've been bcos someone else had mentioned Ben White being versatile enough at the back but that might've been another morning, like I said they all merge after a while! Agbonlahor generally talks utter ****e on there anyway.

I’d love West Ham to be relegated, most deluded supporters in the country. And not ****ing one of them lives in East London, typical Essex punters, all whitened teeth and spray on tan and fake designer clobber. At least Chelsea’s hooligans know they’re a bunch of lowlife yobboes, West Ham all have delusions of grandeur

Went to United/West Ham last season.

They're all in **** tracksuits, flatcaps and crap trainers.

They think they look brilliant but they look ****ing ridiculous.

Absolute parodies.
