No way I'm staying if I saw that.

Id not go back either.

No never go back bro

Didn't somebody fall through a stand recently, I swear I saw a pic of it recently.

Not on that Boca Junior scale, but at a lower league game in the UK ? I dunno maybe I'm making it up

Hmm, several PL teams played friendly's today agaimst lower league teams and all won. Leicester played against a non-league team and lost, is this some kind of portent for the season <whistle>

Only if you are a numpty <doh> ...

I watched it on YouTube ... was played on a training pitch at Seagrave ... first half we had 4 first choice players in the line-up... half finished 1-1 but it was largely one way traffic before a scrappy equaliser for the opposition in the dying mins of the half..

... we then made 11 changes at half time ... Iheanacho and 10 academy lads (including 2 trialists) played the second half against a team with many seasoned pros ...

<cheers>

Some excellent young players ... Callum Wright who was on loan at Cheltenham last season was particularly impressive in the first half and has given Brenda some food for thought ... the training facilities are superb, but the game was played on a normal training pitch not even the show pitch at Seagrave... so it had more training match vibe than proper friendly ...

The young lads were good but the opposition had much greater physicality ...

yeah right its working really well <laugh>

Well if you judge it on predicted recovery times, yes it is ... Fofana wasn't expected to play at all last season but was back for almost the last quarter - similar with James Justin's ACL ... boy now has his first England cap ... more selfishly means they both get s full pre-season in them ... as does Wilf Ndidi <cheers>

it was the rehab staff who set the predicted target time so it suits them to be cautious so they look good if player back available earlier .
Wonder if they are on performance bonuses :bandit:

Okay, so only certain parts of the new training ground are world beating.

Notts County are the oldest club in England Ponks ... they won't be in the National League for long and the top half of that league is more than comparable with League 2 ... they likely pay better salaries than many a League 2 team as well ...

Yet evidently still non-league though
