I watched it on YouTube ... was played on a training pitch at Seagrave ... first half we had 4 first choice players in the line-up... half finished 1-1 but it was largely one way traffic before a scrappy equaliser for the opposition in the dying mins of the half.. ... we then made 11 changes at half time ... Iheanacho and 10 academy lads (including 2 trialists) played the second half against a team with many seasoned pros ...

Some excellent young players ... Callum Wright who was on loan at Cheltenham last season was particularly impressive in the first half and has given Brenda some food for thought ... the training facilities are superb, but the game was played on a normal training pitch not even the show pitch at Seagrave... so it had more training match vibe than proper friendly ... The young lads were good but the opposition had much greater physicality ...
