if true more likely Big Al Moshiri is worried it will snatched as sanctioned assets :bandit:

It's absolutely ****ing bonkers that some Everton fans would support this takeover. But I think it is a loud minority.

Peter ****in' Kenyon and his consortium are skint, they couldn't afford us their takeover attempt was a joke. No way will they pull this off, unless Moshiri genuinely hates the Toffees now.

They've read the line that stated this johnson guy is employed by a company worth 31 billion, but he's only worth a few million... The company he works for isn't involved.. He's called munk and worth serious money...

I don't think they care about the cash, I think they just want anyone just Moshiri. Least that's what I'm reading right this second on Grandoldteam.

The normal people are now entering and pointing out to the idiots that these guys have no money, are mostly Americans (who are the worst owners in the league,) and could potentially just be buying it on the cheap to asset strip.

"Is the article wrong or have I missed something? People saying these fellas are paupers, but the article seems to imply that one of these guys is worth 31 billion."

Yeah, you were right.

Yeah I think a few Everton fans think they're on the cusp of being rich, but unfortunately that's not the case.

Four….

seems to be picking up some traction. Unlike the Burnley case.

been happening for years and still going on after all Burnley are down while Everton are in the PL .
You lot just hate Derby because of Clough and Franny Lee battering Norman Hunter <laugh>

It's more the 7 million we paid them for Seth ****ing Johnson.

Villa and Derby were way out of FFP rules the season they both got to the play off final at the expense of us. It was common knowledge too but Derby chairman Mel Morris was on the EFL board so he got it swept under the carpet. They hired Rooney as a coach so his wages didn't count. They sold the ground to themselves to exploit a loophole. They sacked the club captain after drink driving as he was injured for a year and the highest earner whilst retaining the younger players also involved in the accident because they had significant transfer value.

The club has acted like a **** for too long and hopefully they get canned because of it.

I'm with you on this, fook Derby.

Teams like mine cannot compete on a level playing field, the Championship is now split in two, the haves and the have nots - which is fine if it is based on attendance revenue. Clubs like Sunderland who were in L1 with us. get gates of 30k+ , whereas we are lucky to get 5k, so there is no disputing, their fans ensure success is paid for by them turning up. Same as it was all those decades ago, when Man Utd and Liverpool were leagues ahead of many others and achieving gates of 60,000+

Where I get pissed off, is when a club like Derby, who are in financial trouble for whatever reason, are bringing in a manager wage bill for the likes of Wayne Rooney. Don't get me wrong, he earned his crust and deserved his slice, but the reality was Derby couldn't afford him. It's a bit like how we have to look around the lower leagues and loans for players to make up our team, because we cannot afford the asking prices - so acting responsibly does not bode that level playing field.

Side tracking...as for being able to name 7 subs on a bench <laugh>

Most clubs are bigger than my club, I have no issues with that, it's the constant financial mis-management that grates and fans lapping up or searching for the glory days again from it. You are bust for a reason, on reflection I hope it was worth it?

they are bust because the owner gambled with the clubs future* when he sold the ground to himself thereby immediately making them worth very little or else a deal to buy them would have probably gone through .

* his future seems fairly secure though since he owns pretty much all that is left of the club bar the name .

Our Chairman did the same thing, he will always be financially secure, our club will not, but we should have gone under 25 years ago, so I just look at it, it's another 25 years+ I wouldn't have had. If he wanted to he could just sell the land off for much needed housing. On the plus side was the financial crash (forget the year), it's amazing how a 10 million debt can suddenly vanish into thin air.

Seems Simon jordan is fuming about Everton again.

not sure why a bloke who took palace into administration is commenting on what a billionaire is doing with Everton.

Like the look of the England team tonight.

Gallagher, Phillips & Belligham should bring loads of energy with Saka and Bowen providing the width.

Think we'll win <ok>
Like the look of that MF. Seems Southgate is using these games to give a good run for the so called squad players.
