I think when they gave a European spot for the fa Cup winners it put paid to the lesser clubs winning it.

I'm pleased we've got a bit of clout now and I'm sure we'll get closer and have better days, but everything is now set up to prevent another Chelsea or City type scenario.

There's so many clubs with money now and they still can't get near the top. Unless FFP is ditched I don't think that'll change.
The Champions League has skewed things a lot more than anything I'd say .
The League cup seems to be owned by the top Clubs now .
Strangely the FA cup seems more winnable these days

I'm finding things are becoming very dull on the whole. The most interesting thing is the relegation battle.

Done quite well for a medium Prem sized club this past few years .
Expected more this year though .

Done exceptionally well ... not many clubs done the League title AND the FA Cup in the last decade ...

I think all Leicester fans were hoping for another cracking season and the early signs were good ... leading Villareal (yes the same Villareal that got to the semi-finals of this year's CL) 3-0 In a pre-season friendly when their striker in a petulant rage committed a horror tackle to break Wesley Fofana's leg and put him out for 9 months ... that was the start of just too many serious injuries to key players that completely disrupted our season ...

Thankfully, Evans, Fofana, James Justin, Castagne and now Vardy all seem to have come through some serious injuries... hopefully Wilf Ndidi will too ... sometimes you just have to accept it and hope for better things (luck) next season ...

Not the greatest of days for us today but hardly a shock to have lost at the Emirates.

Tough to call how it's all going to pan out but I'd say it's about 50/50 between us and Burnley at the moment.

We live in hope
till dreams expire
then slopeth off
from the swamp so dire.

You'll miss us when we're gone.

One win on Wednesday could change everything.. Even a point would be huge.
