I think all Leicester fans were hoping for another cracking season and the early signs were good ... leading Villareal (yes the same Villareal that got to the semi-finals of this year's CL) 3-0 In a pre-season friendly when their striker in a petulant rage committed a horror tackle to break Wesley Fofana's leg and put him out for 9 months ... that was the start of just too many serious injuries to key players that completely disrupted our season ...

Thankfully, Evans, Fofana, James Justin, Castagne and now Vardy all seem to have come through some serious injuries... hopefully Wilf Ndidi will too ... sometimes you just have to accept it and hope for better things (luck) next season ...

nope. Can’t be moaning about injuries.

you know the two sides who have had most players/lost minuets to injuries? That’s right, not leicester. European football hasn’t helped I would say. But others have suffered more for losses to key players.

Oh its just luck when Leicester end up in the relegation battle

All started with livpl last year crying about some minor knocks to a couple of their players being the reason for the worst title defence in history.

Bound to have an effect on vulnerable other fans of clubs like Leicester.

These sorts of excuses really should be banned tbph.

You finished 2nd last season because of them.

Then added Ronaldo, Sancho, and varane and and are now on course for the europa conference league next year <laugh>

Bring able to withstand a few injuries is part of what makes a good side these days.

This is the thing. Every club get injuries. Fosse seems to think it's something that only affects Leicester.

Makes for funny reading on here though seeing Munse predict Lesta's downfall, Fosse trying to belittle him for it and then it all coming to fruition <laugh>

Still, Leicester have done significantly better recently than most.
Can’t deny that, but they are not even in the top 5 of injuries/time missing.

The thing is that's exactly what's happened, but he's still not found the common courtesy to just say "you know what Munson you were were actually right about something"

Hopefully one day he'll do it and I'll stop

They done well in recent seasons, but as @remembercolinlee pointed out, they've actually blown decent league positions when they've capitulated towards the end of the season, which has cost them top 4 on a few occasions. So that tells you that they haven't got the mentality or squad depth to compete consistently

This season they've been on the slide big time, and it looks like they've lose players like Tielemans and Maddison in the summer. Vardy is an old crock now and Lesta could find themselves rattling around in midtable/bottom half for a while to come unless they replace those players.

That's what makes it funny. Fosse is incapable of admitting when he's been done. So on it goes.

He was trying to tell me that Arsenal's season was over in Jan when we went out of the FA cup to Forest, the very next round they dumped Lesta out. And here we are at the business end of the season with Arsenal battling for a Champions League place, with Lesta empty handed down in 14th

Yeah but they got to a European semi.
 
Look at the contempt and disdain in Trebs posts when he talks about United qualifying for the Europa or Conference league like his team is above that when the league table clearly shows different
