You know me, call it as you see it. :emoticon-0139-bow:

Tobes, you know these things, and I seem to have missed you these last few weeks (I've been in the GC pit, tbf, busy doing nothing): this £1.5bn that Chelsea owe Abramovich - why do they not need to pay it back? Is it built into the purchase price? I'm confused because it wasn't spent on infrastructure, so my question is this: what is to stop the Saudis 'lending' Newcastle £100bn, then simply writing it off in ten years or so?

Not being snide, it's a genuine question - asked all over the show, but got no answer. Only you and Astro, IMHO, seem to know these answers, and he seems indisposed. :bandit:

PSV in the QF and if we manage to get through that then likely Roma in the semi .... through that then most likely Marseilles or Feyenord in the final ... exciting times <cheers>

Injuries meant you gave us 3 goals in 9 mins ? <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

We had already lost James Justin and Ricardo Pereira ... then Jonny Evans in the first half of the cup final and Wesley Fofana 21 minutes into that game against you... we had an 18 year old playing left back whose first appearance in a stadium with any fans was the FA Cup semi ... was just a bridge too far on a busy season and we were running on fumes ... not like when we beat you 2-0 at yours earlier in the season when all those mentioned were available... <whistle>

After two people have tried this zip tie stunt now I think it should be standard practice for a pen knife and a pair of scissors to be handy at every stadium.

I didn’t give a **** and the delay for that nonsense was 8 minutes btw, you’re just dredging for something to have a pop about as you wanted us to lose. ****ing tragic ****.

Wow. Who rattled your cage ffs. <laugh>

All I was commenting on was how bizarre it was that it took so long to cut a plastic cable tie

Thanks for the help ... but it was still the injuries ... finished both seasons with makeshift defences ... looks like we'll be finishing this one with a pretty good one <cheers>
With you there having major amounts of injuries is troubling
Like when we had our entire defence out last season
and most of our midfield out earlier in this one
Funny thing was
No ****er was ever arsed
We Liverpool fans were told it’s a squad game and to stop cry arsing about
So with that firmly in mind it’s a poor season surely ? that said if you win The Europa league at least you get a coveted trophy - and I am not knocking the Europa - good pot to win that <cheers>

Oh it's undoubtedly a poor season by our recent standards... and if it was down purely to the squad getting stale etc, I'd be concerned... but it's not ... we are very capable but players like Vardy and Jonny Evans being out has hit us hard ... but the way the young defence played yesterday against a really good Rennes gives lots of reason to think we could have a good end to the season ... only negative is that N'didi and Albrighton had to come off injured and Harvey Barnes took a shocker of a tackle at the end that VAR would have got their lad a red for ... just hoping it hasn't done him damage because he has been really good last few games <cheers>

Err thought they are in the Conference League.

Or the Papa John's Pizza Trophy equivalent if you prefer.

You are getting confused with the Emirates Cup mate... or possibly just confused ...after all the only trip your lot get to Europe is Benidorm ... strangely enough think Benidorm might have played in an Emirates Cup game ... qualification was by desperate invitation only <laugh>

Fofana went off after 20 mins mate ... so only Castagne really featured in both ... and Vardy was playing post hernia op ... admittedly he was still quicker than Harry Kane <laugh>
