I virtually repeated some of your words and Saff's away from the forum today. Firstly what Saff said earlier, I said to someone, didn't that player pay someone off, this is the examples they are being led by, although it's certainly no excuse. He don't even lead by example on the pitch, it's all about his own masculinity and how he looks and performs for the brand, we all know who I'm chatting about.
From what I see of footballers today, there is absolutely no discipline, no discipline whatsoever, players are virtually telling the managers what to do, and if they cry loud enough the manager gets sacked. I could give simple examples, but this is all too serious for that.
I said also as you you said it, too much, too soon and at such a young age. Again none of this excuses it, but in an age when companies like SKY Sports want to bang on about equal rights and racism (rightly) they need to get the players to get their own houses in order.
We have everything from bent and greedy club chairman through to corrupt FIFA, if that's happening at the top, it don't lead by example, it sends a message to the players, you can do what you want if you have enough money, so wrong, it's a shiite house and fook all will be done about it.
These guys are supposed to be role models, I remember it wasn't that long ago I was slating United with the likes of certain purchases, I asked where was the youth, Greenwood quite rightly was pointed out to me, well that fooking went well didn't it!
