Has to be serous doubt that this Derby County will make it to the end of season .

Yeah so other people have told me as well. I've not followed their financial situation, but I'm guessing by what you say, that they are still in deep trouble.

oh god yes plus the administrators have iirc 14 days to prove to the EFL that Derby have the finances to complete the season or they are lobbing them out of the league and wiping this seasons results plus still 2 outstanding legal claims against them by Boro & Wycombe .

Right, I'm in two minds about the Wycombe, I get their point of view, but I also remember they were virtually given a bye to the Championship during covid - it was all above board and done by the rules at the time, but no way, were they the team that would have gone up imho, at the important half way stage of the season. I'm sure clubs like Oxford and Posh, the latter who got it the following season would have had something to say about that had it continued to the end of the season. Afterall, let's not forget it was that following season they were relegated, again under the same controversy that they got promoted. Naturally Wycombe fans would not agree with me. What annoys me, clubs like Dover down in the National Conference were hit with a fine, they couldn't afford to pay, and a big points deduction for not continuing the season, it's all so inconsistent. I don't want Derby to go under though.

I know quite a few Derby season ticket holders thru working in the area so wouldn't like to see them go to the wall but this is a problem of their own making by overspending in an attempt to get to sunlit uplands of the PL and then in a last gamble to game the system selling the ground to then owner Mel Machin which also makes a fresh investor less likely .
From outside though it does look odd that a club with a modern ground and a steady home attendance of 20k plus is in such a mess but that football these days .
