We've got Atalanta before you in the CL.

The thing about Ole, particularly in the CL with a group to qualify from, the worse our results the safer he goes the next game... and the more he saps the natural ability and confidence of our players.

I expect the Atalanta game to be about passing it across the back 4, try and get it to Shaw to do something but inevitably go back to the centreback and Atalanta to save themselves from the boredom to actually nab the boal and stick it in the back of the net.

He needs to resign.

He will stay until after the Liverpool game...the new manager will then have an easy win v us <grr>

All joking aside
He is not a bad man and he has done okay but getting to that next level is difficult and he may not be able to do that
However if he is lucky I always feel it better to be lucky than have ability

you appear to have sorted your scouting issues

however - and this will probably come back to bite me on the arse - but I think Ronaldo s return has unbalanced the side - but watching oles interview on MOTD I think he knows it
That I think has been your only mistake in the last few transfers wiNdows

and it is such a crazy statement stating that it was a mistake to sign ronaldo

I think that's a bit of a lazy "fad" statement about Ronaldo. Not aimed at you btw, but someone said it in the media a couple of weeks ago and now everyone's latched on to it. Some who've rarely watched us play. He seemed to be doing fine when he was scoring, funny that.

Nah mate, there's two things here - a manager who can't bring the best out in Ronnie or ANY of our creative players. And a style of football which has steadily over a period of 18 months stifled the best of our midfield and ended up playing over-cautiously and then punting it upfield. If anyone has been watching us over the past 18 months you can literally see Ole's fear growing as he realises he's becoming more and more out of his depth. Shame because he is a legend as a player.

New manager?? <laugh> I doubt our board have even bothered to think about who they could bring in. So your game is safe mate.
Well in that case you're guaranteed a smiling OGS in two weeks... but you lot are gonna be battered stupid either side of that v Liverpool and City!

United will have to wait and see who is available after Newcastle take the cream of the managerial crop for their relegation battle.
Maybe Bruce would be interested in three seasons at United under almost no pressure?

Btw talking of the past 18 months, it's no coincidence that we've also seen the decline in form of Bruno as well. Sums up what I've posted above about what's happened to our midfield during that time.

Of course he hid Ole's failings in that period after his arrival, but slowly Ole's sapped the best out of him through his poor tactical approach as well. They'll be saying Bruno unbalances the side next <laugh>
