Just watched MOTD and mot a word about how appalling Maguire was. He was responsible for Leicester's first and fourth goals. He was so ****ing bad he'd have looked at home playing with Dier or Sanchez ffs. £80 ****ing million
I think that's a bit of a lazy "fad" statement about Ronaldo. Not aimed at you btw, but someone said it in the media a couple of weeks ago and now everyone's latched on to it. Some who've rarely watched us play. He seemed to be doing fine when he was scoring, funny that. Nah mate, there's two things here - a manager who can't bring the best out in Ronnie or ANY of our creative players. And a style of football which has steadily over a period of 18 months stifled the best of our midfield and ended up playing over-cautiously and then punting it upfield. If anyone has been watching us over the past 18 months you can literally see Ole's fear growing as he realises he's becoming more and more out of his depth. Shame because he is a legend as a player.
New manager?? I doubt our board have even bothered to think about who they could bring in. So your game is safe mate.
Well in that case you're guaranteed a smiling OGS in two weeks... but you lot are gonna be battered stupid either side of that v Liverpool and City!
He'll probably pull out 4 points from those two games to save himself. Let's hope so anyway. We all love seeing Ole at the wheel.
Your lads did you proud against us and deserved a point. It was a good win for us though when you consider the teams that have dropped points at Brentford this season.
United will have to wait and see who is available after Newcastle take the cream of the managerial crop for their relegation battle. Maybe Bruce would be interested in three seasons at United under almost no pressure?
Btw talking of the past 18 months, it's no coincidence that we've also seen the decline in form of Bruno as well. Sums up what I've posted above about what's happened to our midfield during that time. Of course he hid Ole's failings in that period after his arrival, but slowly Ole's sapped the best out of him through his poor tactical approach as well. They'll be saying Bruno unbalances the side next
Can't help but wonder how our buddy Matth reacted to Rashford's equaliser then us (Vardy) scoring straight from the restart... comedy gold, I'm sure ... but probably not for the expletive sensitive
