They've got a striker. They brought him on late on.Danny Murphy reckons City drawing a blank against Spurs doesnt mean they need a striker

Drawing one blank isnt something to panic over. But is Danny forgetting that City have failed to score in their last 3 competitive games, 2 of which were cup finals.
Man City 0-1 Chelsea CL final
Leicester 1-0 Man City Com. Shield Final
Tottenham 1-0 Man City League game
In fact you have to go all the way back to May for their last goal in a competitive game.

Could go either way imo, everything points to it being the right time for all involved, but Levy is a law unto himself & could end up still owning a player who’d obvs set his heart on leaving come Sept 1st.I think that City will eventually get him before the window closes. But Levy is gonna drag this out until the last minute and bleed them for as much as he can.
Hopefully for Spurs fans, they reinvest the money in the squad better than they did the Bale money, with which they bought, I believe, Capoue and Chadli
Also its not gonna leave Spurs much time to reinvest the money unless they are doing dealings as we speak, which they probably are.
Yeah but they did score more league goals than anyone else last season without a striker.Danny Murphy reckons City drawing a blank against Spurs doesnt mean they need a striker

Apart from Jesus, who scored 14 goals in total and Aguero, who admittedly only got 4.Yeah but they did score more league goals than anyone else last season without a striker.
The Jesus they still have?Apart from Jesus, who scored 14 goals in total and Aguero, who admittedly only got 4.
The Jesus they still have?
And that they had last season, which you apparently missed. Are you going to do this every day?Yeah but they did score more league goals than anyone else last season without a striker.
I was answering a post that said they had "no striker"And that they had last season, which you apparently missed. Are you going to do this every day?

No, you weren't. You answered one that said that they didn't need a striker, not that they didn't have one.Danny Murphy reckons City drawing a blank against Spurs doesnt mean they need a striker

At least you got it in part which is good since it was your post i anwered.Yes, they have strikers in their squad. The question is whether they need a new one, a new starting XI striker.
We know they have ****ing strikers in their squad, between their first team squad and youth academy, they probably have 15 fecking strikers.
We are talking about replacing Aguero. Yes they managed to win the league last season alternating between using a false 9, Jesus and Aguero.
The question is whether they can replicate that, or whether they need a new starting XI striker, ie Kane or maybe someone else. That is the question.
My feeling is that Liverpool may be back to their best, and United and Chelsea have strengthened, so will they be able to do it again without a main target man? I dont think so.
Coz i anit anal mate.Don't take everything so literal, i was pointing out that they were the top scorers last year with the strikers that they have nowNo, you weren't. You answered one that said that they didn't need a striker, not that they didn't have one.
How are you so consistently wrong about everything? It's mystifying.
