Drawing one blank isnt something to panic over. But is Danny forgetting that City have failed to score in their last 3 competitive games, 2 of which were cup finals.

In fact you have to go all the way back to May for their last goal in a competitive game.

In fact you have to go all the way back to May for their last goal in a competitive game.
They've got a striker. They brought him on late on.
More of an issue that De Bruyne didn't start and they didn't replace him with Silva, in my opinion.

Yeah but they did score more league goals than anyone else last season without a striker.
Apart from Jesus, who scored 14 goals in total and Aguero, who admittedly only got 4.
And that they had last season, which you apparently missed. Are you going to do this every day?

We know they have ****ing strikers in their squad, between their first team squad and youth academy, they probably have 15 fecking strikers.
We are talking about replacing Aguero. Yes they managed to win the league last season alternating between using a false 9, Jesus and Aguero.
The question is whether they can replicate that, or whether they need a new starting XI striker, ie Kane or maybe someone else. That is the question.

Not scoring in 3 tight games does not mean they heed a striker, they scored plenty with what they have last season.
What it does maybe signal is that the providers have been a little off game or missing.

Decent baller who many Spurs fans didn't want to leave, though we sold him for around double what we paid.
Capoue, Chiriches, Paulinho and Soldado were the massive duds. Though I blame AVB for Paulinho's failure, tried turning him into a DM when he was a box to box player, two years after leaving us he was winning La Liga with Barca.
